Beams, door leaves, floorboards and, when needed, select woods like walnut and chestnut. No mass production; every piece is made to measure.
Heavy boards from old granary doors, rebuilt with hand-forged rails and fittings. It slides along the wall, so no floor space is lost to a swinging leaf.
Thick treads cut from beams are set into the wall with the tree's natural edge intact. Wood that has finished moving won't sag over the years or open up between treads.
Broad arms, a low, deep seat and a woven rush back. In a courtyard, by the fire or at a window, it makes a corner of its own.
A two-door sideboard with drawers, built from old chestnut boards. Hinges and pulls are hand-forged iron. Drying checks and the natural edge on the top are left as they are.
A thick slab top on jointed legs. The edges follow the tree's own line, and drying checks aren't hidden with filler. They end up being the part people look at most.
